Our first destination was Las Vegas, Nevada (read previous post for more on our arrival). Vegas was cool, not as in the weather because when you stepped outside of any casino you virtually turned to ash.
It was still Vegas though - lots of fun, typical touristy stuff, and a little gambling. We flew through about $15 at the nickle and quarter slots so Adam could get free Bloody Marys. Except that after about an hour of gambling Adam had to flag down a rude cocktail waitress to finally get one, which is all he ended up having.
Meanwhile, Trista was on the lookout for the gigantic dollar slot machine, where she won $50 on her first try when we stayed at Circus Circus last year, but we were told they removed it because the cost of the special tokens it required were too much for the casino apparently (tear).
Poo. That stinks... It was a great machine. ...and we had memories there. Oh well, when we go back we are just gonna have to recreate our experience by going to that buffet again. Darn. ;)
