AND WE'RE OFF!!!!! Two days later than scheduled, but hey ...there was a LOT to do before we could leave. First stop: Las Vegas!
After a champagne toast circle and a rather difficult and teary send off from family and friends alike, we drove off and pushed through the nighttime desert (boy, those skies cover you with stars like a blanket) and we made excellent time to Vegas - only 3 hours. The car is totally packed and it weighs down the vehicle, making it angry as we climb elevation, but we and the car are still okay.
We left Norco, CA just after midnight (PST) and we were both really tired so we decided to get a cheap room at the Circus, Circus Hotel. Also not part of our itinerary, but we're just rolling with the punches. We'll be checking out very soon, maybe hitting some cheap slots, and then over the Hoover Dam to the Grand Canyon.

Bro, hopefully you guys owned up Vegas and now you'll fill the Grand Canyon with your mad swag. Remember to have fun (as if you could forget). Take your time, and go easy on the vehicle.
